From Indian Lakes – by Kyle Myles

I got the opportunity to shoot some live photos of this band, From Indian Lakes, a few weeks ago. Concert photography isn’t something I’ve dabbled in much, so I was excited to try my hand at it in a better setting than a local bar. These are a select few of the photos I snapped of them.

Shot with my Leica M6 Classic, Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.4 MC and a roll of expired Kodak Tri-X 400.

After watching this guy for a while, seeing him grow in as little as months made him a prime suspect of Giant League status.  We are watching out for this dude.

My Photo Obsession – Street Photography – Brandon S. Warren

Ok, now …… If there is any form of photography or artist expression I fear and love in equal parts , its street photography. All of my heroes have been street photographers. I have learned an extreme amount from studying their works, from Eugene Atget to HC. Bresson – There was always this insane fear that I would never ever amount up to the level of awesome-ness that they execute, as well as many other newer stars of the genre. So I never tried to make that “My Thing” – I am passionate about it without wanting to create it. Its strange I know.
I love the shadow-play and randomness of real life, an unexpected split second in the life of a person walking by, or just a landmark that I care less to make look like a commercial endeavor.
BUT with all that said РI can count on one 4 GB memory card how much street photography I have shot in my lifetime, I always have this insane urge to sit and watch and capture when I am out there, but I never do it.  Welcome to My little slice of street photography.

Enjoi,
Shane

Tamaki and Erin – Savannah Photographer – Cody Reigle

It’s not often I visit MD, but when I do I visit these two. I wanted to shoot some spooky stuff with Halloween being right around the corner so we went to this abandoned house and stayed until we could no longer stand the bugs and the lanterns went dim.

Film is Legit – The Giant League – Pressgram

The lovely #pentax #645n loaded with #ilford #hp5 #film – I adore this thing, I self develop in my basement and there’s no better joy , still , then watching your negatives emerge from the can after some experimental chemical usage . #film is not dead, it will go on for a long time- the image I take with this will be able to be scanned in to different sizes as needed for years and years to come. Nothing worse then looking back at my digital images that I shot on a #nikon d2h that are 4 megapixels and will always be 4 megapixels. You see where I am going with this? Go out and shoot some #120 !!! #thegiantleague #photographers shoot and support the analog community, go play!
